BioCharacter history- Not much of the Predacon who would later become Waspinator is known. What is known prior to the Beast Wars is that he and an accomplice (who would later be named Terrorsaur) stole a ship for Megatron's use while Megatron and two others stole the Maximal's Golden Disk. The group of six Predacons escaped from Cybertron to Earth in search of energon but were followed by a Maximal ship, the Axalon. The two ships were engaged in battle as their ship went into Transwarp space which travels through space and time, with the Maximal ship following them. The ending battle forced both ships to crashland on the planet below in two seperate areas. Finding out there was energon, but too much, the Maximals and Predicons crreate alternate beast forms on the most powerful native animals. He chose the form of a giant wasp. The newly dubbed Waspinator engaged in battle with the Maximal Cheetor only for the Maximals to rescue him. As the battles began once again, the conflict would be known as the Beast Wars.
As Waspinator being the only one of two flyers in the Predacons, he was sent with Terrorsaur in one encounter to recover a Maximal protoform but ends up blown to scrap by reinforments. Another enounter had him actually posessed by the former second in-command of the orignal Megatron, Starscream. He is promtly freed one he is blasted to pieces for the umteenth time. As time went on in the Beast Wars his usefulness to Megatron ceased as he had stronger Predacons in his ranks. He remained loyal despite being Megatron's and the Maximals target very frequently. He was promptly ignored as Megatron gained a Transmetal body as well as some of the Maximals, he began to get what he referred as 'slag assignments' as he once captured a prehistoric human for Megatron's schemes who promptly injured him.
As Megatron base was destroyed by the fusor Tigerhawk, Waspinator laements 'At least this time Waspinator has company!'. Barely surviving, Waspinator and the other Predacons follow Megatron's orders to find another base. (which was simply busy-work as he searched for the Decepticon ship, the Nemesis) Waspinator, tired of being evil and blown up all the time quit the Predacons as Megatron piloted the Nemesis to destroy the prehistoric humans as well as (indirectly) Waspinator, Inferno and Quickstrike. Waspinator, was able after a while to pull his peices back together and watched as Megatron was defeated by Optimal Optimus and Rhinox. Deciding to remain on Prehistoric Earth, Waspinator for the first time was happy in his existance. However this would last long as he was pulled into the Digital World.
